F# A Am so just turn around . end on E2 acoustic strum pattern . firstly , i highly recommend finding your own pattern , or attepting to copy drakes by whatching a video of him play it . mainly because it is hard to explain strumming in text . the verse strumming is all just down strokes . then when he reaches the pre - chorus it changes to down , down up , up down up . he does this pattern once for each chord . next , at the part of chorus with the lines "i told you i’ll always be picking up - " , and the a and F# he does the strum pattern twice per chord . then back to once for the ending A , Am chords .
